Personally in my opinion.I think it will be a North Africa route.
Here are my suggestions.Banjul, Casablanca, Luxor, Marsa Alam,Cairo, Djerba,Tunis,Monistar.

North African demand has bulged and expanded.SSH has got a massive increase in numbers and so has Hurghada,Agadir,Marrakesh and enfidha.

I think personally it’s an Egyptian route and I go by my evaluation of Cairo

Yeah that’s a lot to ask for pal, it’s probably a new Ryanair route or easy jet

Air Cairo would be more likely on Cairo than Egypt Air

That's a bit unfair there as many content creators are extremely hard working and they do pay for their own flights. And apparently Global didn't give out any free tickets. People were invited but had to pay.
They lost a shed load of money on the GLA-JFK, they didnt even cover the fuel bill !

Seems like BHX will gain a weekly Norse charter https://newsweb.oslobors.no/message/647248

"Between November '25 and March '26 Norse Atlantic will offer seamless, direct flights to Barbados and Antigua, taking guests to Arvia or Britannia for 14-night Caribbean holidays. The dedicated charter flights will operate weekly from London, Birmingham and Manchester."
Norse seem to be leading to a very big presence at BHX soon, October their operating their Islamabad flights from BHX too

will this winter be the biggest and best at bhx.Prior to the fact of easyJet 5th based aircraft,Jet2 proving Christmas market expansion to sun and winter destinations including city breaks,Norse looking to be a big charter market.Interesting times ahead

Cheers for that woody.Wonder what the next new Airline will be at bhx next year if there is one.My guess is ITA
Why? ITA does not even fly to Heathrow or Gatwick!
You do realise that your totally incorrect with regards to your comments 😉

ITA Airways operates into LCY year round with numerous flights throughout the day to Milan LIN and Rome FCO.

ITA Airways operates a seasonal daily service between Rome FCO and LGW.
ITA Airways no longer serve LHR having sold their slots several years ago and had been leasing them in recent years. The slots were returned to the lessor and ITA Airways ceased operations at LHR.

But ITA Airways still serve London.

Regarding BHX (Birmingham Aviation)

I can't see ITA Airways starting BHX over a possible resumption of service at MAN. To think that ITA Airways would start BHX over MAN is a pipe dream to be honest 🤔

Sorry I should have added to Milan where all flights are from LCY. My point is only that ITA do not seem very interested in the UK market. A number of airlines will be looking at BHX but ITA would be a surprise. Even in the guise of Alitalia, they never really committed to the regions.

Yes but if there’s good demand in Rome how come wizz have been calling and not Ryanair or easyJet?

I only said ita because it’s part of Lufthansa group I think and it’s a codeshare and connection route.

To take on his US, European and Gulf state rivals, Bastian is expanding globally. In Britain, “there’s a great market out of Birmingham”; Delta sponsors Birmingham City football club. The airline’s boss might use new narrow-body, single-aisle Airbus A321LR jets to serve UK airports outside London.

ITA Airways operate from Milan LIN as well as Rome FCO to LCY with numerous daily flights throughout the year.

But I agree that LCY is only served from Milan LIN whereas LGW only sees seasonal service from Rome FCO.

I also agree with your comments regarding Alitalia never really being committed to the regions.

As you are aware, ITA Airways predecessor Alitalia only ever previously served LGW, LHR, MAN, and STN in the UK.

It's always surprised me that they didn't commit to MAN. Throughout the years when Alitalia actually served MAN their Boeing 727s, DC9s, and MD83s were once daily visitors.

In my opinion Delta should dump the totally unnecessary JFK-LGW route and change it to a JFK-BHX route.

If we stick to the word's of the Delta CEO then hopefully they will start JFK-BHX at some point in the future.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
