French startup Lorizon Aircraft plans to launch business charters between Lorient and Inverness, Scotland, and domestically to Paris, Toulon, and Lyon, with two E135s.

Inverness will be the first destination to be launched with thrice-weekly flights aimed at corporate clients, but a launch date has not been announced.

So is this a 'scheduled charter'? It sounds unlikely but it seems they identified regular corporate demand to fly to/from Inverness. I'm not a local but is there some significant French investment in the area, or alternatively Scottish investment in Brittany?

CAA Stats 2022
Inverness saw 700,012 passengers use the airport in 2022 up 96% on 2021 (357,584)
Aircraft movements were 23,820

Inverness has been named the Best Airport under 2 Million Passengers in Europe, with passengers recognising the team’s efforts in providing superior customer service.

The airport has also earned three other accolades in this year’s ASQ awards including Airport with the Most Dedicated Staff in Europe, Easiest Airport Journey in Europe and Cleanest Airport in Europe.

Aeroroutes are reporting that Inverness is to see an increase in British Airways flights between Heathrow and Inverness.

One way flights from London Heathrow will increase from 154 to 198, and from what I can see the additional flights will operate on Fridays and Saturdays, I have taken the time to pull together the schedule in case somebody more familiar with the route can confirm.

according to some people, you only need 1 day in each of the Yorkshire Dales, North Wales and Lake District "to have seen it all". Which is why its minibus tour number 3 this year of the Yorkshire Dales for me on 16th October. Different routes and different things to see each tour.
Apologies for any issues today, I was planning on updating the site but sadly something went wrong so the upgrade has been postponed. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused.
