The maiden STN-YYZ has been cancelled due to 'delayed aircraft delivery from manufacturer'.

The article does not make good reading.

A spokesperson for Primera Air said: “I can confirm that payments are processed but it can take up to 15 business days for the amount to appear in the account – plus there have been bank holidays in the given time period, both in the UK and Latvia from where compensations have been transferred.

“Therefore the customers who haven’t received the compensations should receive them this week or next.”

Does it take that long for the fare money to reach Primera's bank account when passengers book? I think this is a rhetorical question.

As reported on the Dried Fruit forum.

Aircraft collision this morning - the Primera B738 to Malaga clipped a Ryanair waiting at the 04 holding point.

Primera really are having some bad luck with there new UK operations. 😗

Yesterday's EWR was operated by B738 OY-PSA flying via KEF!

Meanwhile the sun routes are being flown by 36-year-old MD82 LZ-DEO.

Must be a lot of fun for all the passengers involved :grumpy:

They definitely aren't having a good time with their expansion and new venture. You have to give them credit though for having the guts to do it.

Been reported on the dried fruit that Boston is dropped for Winter out of STN. Expected to return in S19. 🤔

According to a poster on the dried fruit forum Primera are looking at Orlando for next year with the A321NEOLR! Will be interesting to see if it has the range outside of testing!

It will be even more interesting if it gets off the drawing board.
