It will be very interesting to see how these sell and how many actually operate, as this will give a fair indication as to how the aviation market is doing with its recovery. People have been desperate to get away on a summer break, but how many will be considering winter excursions over the Christmas period and either side? I have my doubts but seriously hope I am wrong.

Well as there’s allegedly going to be a shortage of Turkeys and pigs in blankets in the U.K. at Christmas may as well blow the money on one of these breaks instead!

I personally would like to see them operating b733 more. As there nice classics and not been used for passenger flights since March 2020!

Another went today, though there looked to be one left on the Eastern Apron this afternoon. Hard to tell from half a mile away as the angle if viewing can be deceptive and 800s look shorter than they are.

As a Captain of a Jet2 flight from Belfast remarked to a member of the cabin crew just prior to take off in a 300-“let’s get this pile of cr*p off the ground”. True story!

Since you mentioned it why don’t you have a word with them.

I think you’re missing my point also I wasn’t aware that they were going to Almeria for storage but looking at other posts that appears to be the case. Hence my saying that they could get changed to 800s
