Ryanair are currently having a big mess around with their system, a few changes to what aircraft is operating what route. so I’m assuming we will be getting a announcement shortly or a finalised plan for summer 25

Chatting to someone yesterday as to why Ryanair are very secretive about new routes and loading them on the system and why it takes months to announce the specific routes.We also chatting about why they load frequencies or extra dates on a specific day aswell. Is their reasoning for this or is that more or less Ryanair for you?

It’s just Ryanair business model, hire the least amount staff as possible and work them to the maximum limit. The route development team might only be a small team of 8 or 9 , So if they split the 90 or so bases between them means they have could have 10 bases to work on. Add on the fact they will need to go to exist airports and new airports etc it will take a long time for new routes to happen.

As for the releasing on Wednesdays and Thursdays, it’s simple more people book on the weekends so they get more internet traffic. which is why you notice prices go up on weekends compared to Wednesdays and Thursdays.
