Ryanair to cut up 1 million seats in Spain due to costs of airport prices. This could mean routes that serve regional Spanish airports from Birmingham like Santander,Valencia,Seville,Girona and Reus could all be affected next summer.

First reported in April todays announcement states "potential" cuts if Aena go ahead with 6% increase in charges.

I’m pretty sure this is a Ryanair annual event & Santander will be the first casualty unless the local area steps in again with financial support …

Also reported yesterday by Reuters that O'Leary said Boeing are increasing Max8 production and expects 9 additional aircraft delivered this year allowing extra capacity accross the network particularly over the Christmas period.

It should be fully loaded around late October/early November with at least 1 additional aircraft being added and a few more W patterns from other bases

Who knows with Ryanair but good news they are taking deliveries again
**** it we only live once.
My predictions for RYANAIR(Hope this doesn’t get moved) not a wishlist

New routes: Wroclaw,Rome,Hamburg

Removed routes:Santandar,Perpignan

Frequency changes:
Alicante 2 daily
Krakow 10 weekly
Palma 2 daily
Bucharest Daily
Verona 5 weekly
Dublin 40 weekly
Cork 6 weekly
Tenerife daily
Faro 12 weekly
Rhodes 6 weekly

It’s a prediction not reality yet.Dont get to disheartened by my thoughts

Seems to have gone under the radar but SeanM has tweeted that Ryanair have added Rome-Ciampino - three weekly (Wed/Sat/Sun) from 26 October. Quite a quick lead in time so no doubt a response to Wizz’s new route from Fuimicino. That’s three carriers serving Rome now which is great to see. Are EasyJet going to make it four?

Yes short notice indeed no doubt Ryanair's subtle use of its sledge hammer to attack Wizz.

Additionally they announced increases starting March to Alicante+1,Palma+2 and Seville +1also Madrid gets an extra sevice all winter except January taking them up to 5weekly which makes you wonder about the Spanish cuts they announced for winter -7 for BHX apparently.

All as posted elsewhere by the reliable Olton Pete including the Rome announcement yesterday.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
