Easyjet are advertising on the Yorkshire version of Capital FM. The ads aren't airport specific but neither Doncaster or Leeds airports have an Easyjet presence these days.

Was at the cinema last night, first time seen an advert from Liverpool Airport come on as a trailer .

Liverpool Airport has struck up a marketing deal with The Widnes Viking Rugby League Club.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport currently handles almost 5 million passengers per year with flights to over 60 destinations in the UK and across Europe. It is the Faster, Easier, Friendlier Airport of choice for passengers from across the region and is recognised for its relaxed, hassle free environment and best in class operational performance.

The new partnership sees the airport secure significant branding opportunities across the Vikings stadium, print and digital channels. This includes featuring on the home and away dugouts, as well as prime TV advertising positions within the stadium. Liverpool John Lennon Airport will also have an unmissable branding presence in Denis Betts’ press conferences and player video interviews.

The partnership was formally launched with a visit to the airport by Denis Betts and Vikings Co-Captain, Joe Mellor. The pair enjoyed the opportunity to meet with senior Airport Management and hear all about the Airport’s latest developments.

Richard Munson, Commercial and Community Director at Widnes Vikings, says: “We are delighted to have formed this innovative partnership with Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The airport is an illustrious brand that is well recognised for its quality, so we are proud to welcome them to our commercial family. We are excited to be have this opportunity to promote the airport to the Rugby League community through our matchday, print and digital output this season.”

Paul Winfield, Director of Aviation Development at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, added, “This is a great opportunity to support and work with our nearest Rugby League team and to highlight to supporters the great range of holidays and city breaks available direct from Liverpool, all with the added convenience of being just 20 mins away from the home of Widnes Vikings.”

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
