Land's End Airport

A new helicopter service will begin this May from Lands End to IOS in connection to the fixed wing operation from Lands End. It will be known as Island Helicopters and has been set up by The Isle of Scilly Steam Ship Company. Lands End airport was upgraded last year with modern terminal facilities and now a hard runway.
The flying time is 15 mins, the company also offers a meet and greet facility from Penzance Station or hotel accomdation. 60 K passengers use Lands End currently.

Its probably highly likely that Tresco with its beautiful gardens will regain its air link again. There is only a helipad on Tresco and it has not been connected directly to the mainland since helicopter services ceased from Penzance.
