A LOT 787 from Chicago to Warsaw landed at Glasgow after a fire/smoke warning from the hold, thankfully a false alarm.

A Dreamliner plane with 260 people on board has made an emergency landing at Glasgow Airport after an alert from the aircraft's fire protection system.

Seems a somewhat unfair headline considering the weather conditions in the region.

Goodness knows what the headlines will be tomorrow. The airport has said it is now closed until tomorrow. Good on them, seems like a sensible decision to me. #BeastFromTheEast #Snowmageddon
