Discussions relating to Liverpool Airport
Just come off a service from Faro ..landed at 23.35...it's always interesting where passengers originate from, the chap next to me was about to start a 3 half hour drive to Aberystwyth, I'm very lucky just 20 mins !

Ouch! But i suppose from Aberystwyth there isn't really a close option though I'd say BHX would probably be the closest airport.

Yes I thought Birmingham might be the nearest, still a long way from any airport. Luckily even though the airport was busy, passports was quick, so I guess he got on his way smartish.

The benefits of flying from your #localairport

That's true. I don't often choose such a late arriving flight, but it was nice to see the apron very busy with aircraft. Pretty much all had done their work for the day, although we passed the departure lounge and there were still some waiting to fly out.

Just goes to show how good an experience it is passing through Liverpool..I know people from north Lancs, could go either, but always use LPL

There are no air bridges at present at Liverpool, but sometimes I think your off the aircraft faster with having two exits in use.

Also gives you a good look at the plane as your boarding! I prefer it to an airbridge!
As a side note in Amsterdam some of their gates now have airbridges that can reach the back doors as well now.

Oh really, never seen them before ! But yes its nice to be able to take a look, or a quick photo ( Maybe not in certain countries !!)

This will be decent increase in seats over this year as the A320s gradually came on line during the summer this year. So decent provision from Easyjet for 2019.

That's great. What is the seat number different between easyjet 319(?) and the 320?

Well it's fantastic news and it shows easyjet are confident they can continue to grow their Liverpool airport operation.

Yes it is good to see. I beleive there is still some gaps in their schedules at moment, I guess will become clearer as time goes on.

Easy jet are running 8 rotations today over to Belfast which I think is higher than normal, I don't know if there is something special this weekend going on maybe, or could be end of half term.

Easyjet had a departure to Bristol half hour ago, presumably just aircraft movement but not seen a Bristol departure displayed before .

I'm sure this isn't normal maybe because of the ski season but I've noticed 4 arrivals from GVA today.

easyJet have been operating 19x weekly flights to GVA for at least the last 3 years.
2x daily Mon-Fri
5x daily Sat
4x daily Sun

With easyJet being the largest operator out of GVA, it's not surprising that during the ski season it ramps up the number of weekly flights there, especially from the UK.
Below is the number of weekly departures to GVA that easyJet operate from it's UK airports: (numbers below are for the ski season, mid-December to early April)

LGW - 59x weekly
LTN - 39-42x weekly
BRS - 21-22x weekly
LPL - 19x weekly
MAN - 17x weekly
STN - 14-16x weekly
EDI - 14x weekly
BHX - 13x weekly
SEN - 6-7x weekly
NCL - 6x weekly
BOH - 5-6x weekly
BFS - 4x weekly
GLA - 3x weekly
SOU - 3x weekly
ABZ - 1x weekly
