Thank you boss, I had nothing else to do but follow my interest and that I was able to pursue medically.

Well done for the hard work you have put into your degree. @JENNYJET
It is nothing more than application of a personal interest, I am no longer employable due to disabililties, ( loss of speach ) being a major impediment in the Court room, and a professional qualification to practice in Law is beyond my financial means. I own the academic qualifications, both in UK and USA but do not have the necessary licences to enter into practice. To have the Bar examination passes would cost me in excess of $ 200,000, just for the examination and a similar amount for the licence.....not in my interest. Having a Master of Laws (Birmingham) in England and a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School is satisfying enough to me, the theory is more than enough and monetising is not in my personal interest. The Law is a subject without limits, incalculable variations of logic and interpretation. There is never a clear cut case.

I would add that I am no better than a bricklayer or a vehicle mechanic, I simply use my mind above my physical disabilities. It is all I have at this time.

Hello folks, it is time I returned to the forum. I have been ill, I have a serious heart issue that requires surgical remedies, open heart stuff and then some ! In addition to that, I have a Liver problem that needs treatment before I can be considered for heart surgery. My friend Scottie Dog contacted me with your concerns, Thank You. My aviation news has come via Airport Action, and DJ's Aviation. I am no longer a supporter of BigJet TV, he is a Clarkson, too noisy for my liking. However my life turns, I am commited to this forum, I depend upon it. Jennifer.

Welcome back JJ. Wonderful to hear from you. You have certainly been ' through the mill' with your health issues. Very best wishes for an ultimately successful outcome.
Take care.

JENNYJET it's so lovely to see you back on F4A. Obviously, as others have said, I am so sorry to hear of your health problems and send my best wishes to you for the future.

Hello young lady so nice to see you back to bring your wisdom to the forum, my very best wishes to you.

I have recently passed a life time milestone, I passed 66 yrs of age and am now officially a retired pensioner. This now allows me to make use of my Academic Title, given to me by my Masters at Harvard Law School. I am no longer in a position to make financial gain from the title of Doctor of Jusisprudence and thus am able to use it as an honorific title alone. It is neither here or there as far as I am concerned other than it was an achievement, gained late in life and is valuable to me a person that wagged it from school and placed my parents in difficulty with the education authority of Birmingham. Life has taken me on a long winded path of disappointment and tough breaks along the way. I initialy trained as a photographer in the advertising business and then as a Bookmaker for a dodgy firm that went bust. I then got into the courier business as a documents handler for clients that included HM Government, requiring me to drive a small van across the length and breadth of our Kingdom. In a private capacity , I followed my deep interest and knowledge of French Baroque music to a point of taking a course in Conducting of Orchestra's and general musicianship.

I then, in my early forties had a Brain Heamorage that cut my working life short and the money dried up. And in my early Sixties, I developed a Heart issue that now requires surgury. Whilst being out of work, I chose to study Law as an interest rather than a route into employment. A mixture of Loans and Scholarships allowed me to take up a place at Harvard Law School to study Jurisprudence majoring on Constitutional Law and gained a UK Masters degree in Law at Birmingham University. A great deal of application of mind over adversity but nothing to fuss about, I detest fuss.

Anyhow, this resume of my life is in case something happens and I dissapear from the forums again. I wish you all well and good times.

Jennifer or if one inists, Doctor Jenny.

Good evening Dr Jenny and thank you for sharing what seems to have been a rather up and down life. No matter what has happened, you appear to have made the most of the opportunities that have come your way and I hope that we will have the pleasure of your input for many years to come.

I thank you deeply Sholto, but honestly I seek no fuss, I live a simple existence. Blessings to you and your family.

Sir, it was not my intention to share anything, my life is private, to a degree, but relevent in the context of how I am this day. Events are not so private as many may think, Public record has supremacy in many cases, you cross a road and cause an accident , that is public record, privacy takes a back seat.

I have much to say in relation to events in United States that are losely related to aviation. I have asked our sainted leader for advice and shall curb my enthusiasm until given a positive progression.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
