Fog at EMA?

G-CELW
OY-SRO
TF-FIG
G-DHLH
OY-SRG
EI-FOA
G-JMCA

All holding.

A Swiftair attempted an approach and is now heading north, a Titan 757 has left the hold and are heading south.

Latest METAR: EGNX 052020Z 06002KT 0600 R27/0300 FZFG BKN001 00/M00 Q1025. The 2050 weather not yet available

OY-SRO is heading south a 36,000', G-DHLH looks as if it's heading to DSA, EI-FOA is heading to BHX, G-CELW looks as if it is going back to Belfast.

The rest are still holding and have been joined by OO-TNN and a Flybe.

Doncaster and Birmingham weathers...

EGCN 052050Z 00000KT 0500 R20/0450 FZFG BKN001 BKN009 M02/M02 Q1027
EGBB 052050Z 00000KT 2600 MIFG BR NSC 01/01 Q1025

Weather in DSA barely more doable than EMA?!

A Euro Atlantic 763 just managed to get in but the other two Star Air's headed back to the continent. A TNT 734 also looks to be heading back to Belfast.

Just one diversion to BHX.

A flight from Stansted airport to Copenhagen had to perform an emergency landing after the plane lost one of its wheels after take-off.

Ryanair confirmed its Boeing 737 landed safely at East Midlands Airport and passengers had boarded a new flight.

Traffic was held on the M1 motorway while the plane landed and a number of other flights were delayed.

Investigators from the Air Accidents Investigation Branch have been sent to the airport.

Anyone in the know, know why TOM7106 has been delayed this morning? Stuck in Zakynthos waiting to come home and wondering how likely it is that the delay will be extended

Was supposed to depart at 08:40, now scheduled for 11:00

Thanks in advance

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 2nd time
