Suceava is an interesting one but could have been taken up by Sibiu instead as SCV isn't a Wizz base.

Spicejet 3x weekly.......again!

Qatar 2x daily.......again!

Emirates requested more slots but not a whole season so IF it happens a 3rd flight would likely be either less than daily or starting Feb or March.

No Vueling for winter at least.

Daily Ryanair UK slot which could be Belfast?

I think the rest is about as expected.

Emirates is 14 weekly pax and 2 weekly cargo flight

Interesting to see Wizz apply for slots for 25x weekly departures when looking at February peak. they currently have 18x departures currently scheduled. Obviously this is not a guarantee the slots will be used but its clear wizz has some interest in growing from BHX

I wonder if slot reservations work like a subscription, so it just keeps going if the airline forgets to cancel it? Could explain why we’ve had some unusual requests sitting in there for years ;)

There's every chance the slot was taken up for Sibiu. Wizz only have 5 destinations out of SCV and it would be very difficult to do BHX without a based aircraft.

If they are wanting to serve the north east of Romania from Birmingham I'd imagine bringing back Iași would be a better option.

EasyJet and Ryanair in winter
Lanzarote W25
Rovaniemi W25
It will only show as "New Destination" If no airline flew there the previous season or no airline held slots for it.

Lanzarote is already served from BHX and Rovaniemi will have been served with charter airlines so yes they are new for those airlines but not the airport

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
