Report on parking and transport issues.
In keeping with most modern trains, the seat padding looks extremely fruggle - although for a 15/20 minutes journey for this particular route it isn’t too much of an issue.

The Independent reports that Transport for London (TfL) has started a massive, staggered series of closures on the Piccadilly line that will run all summer long to prepare for the new air-conditioned Tube fleet entering service later this year. I can't imagine this will be good for passengers using Heathrow Airport.

While the long-term upgrade is great, the immediate reality is a summer of major weekend and night tube closures on the main affordable route to LHR. This leaves premium passengers crammed onto buses or forced onto the Heathrow Express / Elizabeth line, while budget and staff travelers face a total logistical headache. What alternatives do airport passengers have?

Does a world-class hub airport rely too heavily on a single, century-old deep Underground line? When TfL shuts down sections from King's Cross or Hammersmith to Heathrow during peak summer weekends, does it completely damage LHR's reputation for smooth connectivity compared to European rivals?
