No official announcement yet, but word is expansion of terminal into stand 6 hopefully in time for Summer 2026.

Starbuck is already being built, its in the already existing area of departures ground floor, just opposite departure gate 4.

Big news this week, council approved the management of trees in stoneham cemetery, this is for emergency routing which will unlock more take off weight for airbuses and boeing, opening markets like canary islands, north africa, turkey and eastern europe.

TUI release their S27 timetable on 16th October, will there be any more route development from SOU and are easyJet likely to future base from the south coast airport?

Trees now felled south of the airport and revised obstacle charts to be updated by March, should bring improved take off weights!
