Loganair already operate ABZ-NCL 3x daily. So I wouldn't be surprised if Eastern are shying away from that. Hopefully Loganair can make a schedule for NCL-CWL and if prices are lower than what T3 offer then could work quite well with the bigger aircraft. They could even do ABZ-NCL-CWL and vice versa as T3 do and finish T3 off on the route completely.

Loganair's prices would be cheaper probably half the price of Eastern, even an evening flight similar to Glasgow would be nice! Fingers crossed they pick the route up.

Enjoy the day and we look forward to videos, pics and a trip report. Glasgow is one of our favourite cities. We've spent a lot of time there down the years and are going again in early summer.

Loganair have put flights onsale for winter 2020/21 and a quick look at CWL and it's the same as summer.

I'm all checked in now for the inaugural flight from Cardiff to Glasgow on Thursday with Loganair! Looking forward to seeing what they are like.
I have flown with them quite a few times on the E145. Service is always good and the crew are usually really helpful. The aircraft are a bit tired inside. Most still have BMI blue seats with tartan head rest covers added but if you can get an “A” seat it’s lovely and really gives a business feel to the flight. Enjoy!

So back now from my little trip to Glasgow with Loganair and Easyjet. Flew Loganair last night and found them very good! Really enjoyed flying on the E145, being at the back reminded me of flying KLM on the Fokker 70 a few years ago.
As it was the inaugural flight there was some preamble media stuff done before hand with a bagpiper playing lots of tunes including Bread of Heaven, Flower of Scotland and Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau and lots of photos and video taken, Nation radio also were present and were doing a feature about what Glasgow had to offer i believe. There was also cake!
It definitely was an enjoyable experience and hopefully the route will grow in the long term. I counted about 30 passengers with quite a few Scottish passengers as well. With the advertisement at Glasgow airport being quite prominent (it's straight after security in Glasgow airport) hopefully that'll encourage more Scottish tourists to use the route. At the end of the flight a gift of Gin was given out as well which was a nice touch.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
