FR24 is showing an RAF C17 (RRR6443), due from Gaziantep (GZT - yes, I had to look it up too. It's in Turkey) at 23:58. It's due to depart to Brize Norton (BZZ) at 01:50.

Also, TUI are operating BHX - BHX with B737-MAX8 (G-TUMS, TOM8066) departing 21:15 and arriving back at 00:04.
Very unusual TUI flight im guess it a northern lights special ?

Possibly, It took up a 'holding pattern' at FL390, to the west of Shetland. I'm not sure how good a view you would get from the cabin windows of a B737 and those not in window seats wouldn't see much at all, unless everyone kept swapping places.

It may just be a TUI only crew flight

The TUI 737 is a northern lights trip as per Ian's blog.

As noted elsewhere on the forum by Kevin all todays LH Frankfurt and Munich flights are cancelled due to industrial action although tonights freight flight from Frankfurt is shown as operating as normal. Last nights flight operated on schedule.

FR24 is showing Swiss A320 (HB-IJQ) on LX420 from Zurixh (ZRH) due at 07:50. ETD to ZRH as LX421 is 08:45.
Also, an A320 (HB-JLP) on LX424 due 18:15.
Titan A320 (G-POWM, AWC222Y) due from STN at 13:14. Departs as ZT223 to Bergen (BGO) at 14:45.
Not sure where England's women play next but could the Titan be bringing a team up here to face them maybe Norway although I think we have Belgium. Molienux possibly which is where we played the last Arnold Cup Game last year.

Here's a stat I've just noticed that you don't see every day. EasyJet have more movements scheduled for today than Ryanair with thirteen departures versus Ryanair who have only twelve. EasyJet routes today are Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Amsterdam, Geneva and Lisbon.

Admittedly the Ryanair figure is low they are normally around twenty currently and we will see a good increase from them as the summer schedule kicks in.

Noticed a few Ryanair movements today

EI-DCM from STN then operated to Brussel
but also EI-IFZ coming from dublin shortly to operate the delayed fue which happens to be its first revenue flight since being delivered 3 days ago

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
