Both of the above TUI flights are showing as 'unknown' on FR24. However, if I search for them on FR24 by registration, it shows that G-OBYK operated AYT - MAN, landing at 04:38.
G-OBYF was operating TFS - LGW on 6 May, but diverted to BHX, landing at 01:25 (I presume on the 7 May), without making any attempt to get into LGW. I guess this could be the first flight of the season and therefore was returning empty. With it required at BHX, maybe it was easier to go straight there. FR24 has G-OBYF listed as operating BHX - PMI at 06:40, so has probably remained at BHX since diverting.

You're quite correct Kevin, and I find the same problem myself with FR24 when compiling my logs. A number of Jet2 and TUI flights are shown as operating, based on flight numbers, but if you then check the aircraft you find that it has operated on a totally different route. I suppose we should just count ourselves fortunate that we have access to the data that we do - rather than 60 years ago, when I suspect we both started our interest in aviation.

FR24 is also showing EuroAtlantic Airways B767-300 (CS-TST) operating as TOM705 from Espargos (SID), due at 02:23

Noting that CS-TST is operating TOM705 from SID (and also operated the outbound flight), I wondered where G-OBYF (TUI B767) was now. A quick search on FR24 gave the following -

This makes no sense. It says that it positioned from BHX to MAN, but it's next flight was from LGW. So, I clicked on the 'Play' icon for the BHX - MAN sector and got this -

Have they moved MAN?

I'm not sure how FR24 gets it's info (my guess would be from filed flight plans), but something is definitely wrong here.

Kevin, I think your right, the FR24 comes from filed flight plan data, maybe TUI filed 2 flights under the same call sign, one to MAN, one to LGW, which would have confused the FR24 system!

Currently a Jet2 737 G-GDFR, EXS041A has operated a flight NCL to GLA, which has just landed at BHX!!! Rule of thumb on FR24, especially with positioning flights, is not take them as gospel, often the information is wrong!

TUI showing 763 operating today to Espargos and Palma.

Ryanair first flight today to Zadar, total of 20 outward today.

Jet2 23 outward today including 6 A321.

TUI 15 outward today including 1- 789, 2-763 also positioning out 788 to Newcastle 737 to Gatwick.

Total number of scheduled passenger flights looks like 97 today.

Off to me sun lounger now, fly back Thursday with Jet2-flight only

For the sake of completion this appears to be what actually happened with G-OBYF.

1. Positions from Teneriffe to BHX in the early hours of 7/5 original destination from Teneriffe.

2. Operates the BHX - Palma rotation and was due to operate to Espargos (Cape Verde) but poor weather at the destination resulted in cancelled
flight until next day.

3. TUI bring in another 763 CS-TST of Euroatlantic to operate the Espargos flight.

4. G-OBYF returned to Gatwick as presumably needed there.

5. TUI are quids down after doing their best.

All the above is from Ian's bhxmovementsblog which I find more reliable than FR24 presumably through local knowledge and contacts but subject nevertheless to changes and variation.

It's now showing on FR24 with an ETD from AMS of 10:19and an ETA of 10:07 at BHX (Time travel? - no just the difference between European time and BST). Also a search of FR24 shows it to be currently in AMS, having arrived on 10 May from Bishkek (FRU).
