Fr24 have it just passing EDI @ 41k as of 12-21

It went a long way round, heading up over central Scotland before turning south and carrying out a circuit over Glasgow at FL410. It then headed out over the Irish sea and carried out another circuit west of Blackpool before heading to BHX. I guess it was undergoing some flight test or pilot training.

We also have a Voyager (ZZ332) due in from HAJ around 13:40 today with the callsign RRR2249.

Digressing slightly, for which I apologise, but why does FR24 carry different flight info compared with Planefinder?

Yes, very confusing sometimes. FR24 tends to be much more accurate. Plane finder often carries errors, particularly when we change from winter to summer schedules and vice versa.

The AIrTanker A330 doesn't appear to have departed before the voyager arrived, so two on the ground together?

The anonymous AN-26 has just arrived again at BHX, seemingly from Prague.

FR24 was showing a Corendon Airlines B737 (XC8139) arrival from Dalaman (DLM) at 08:25, but this has changed to an Air Explore B737-800 (OM-FEX). FR24 departures is still showing as Corendon Airlines.

Icelandair DHC-8 (TF-FXI, FI6003) appears to be heading back to BHX from Malta (MLA) and FR24 shows it to be departing BHX for Reykjavik (RKV) at 05:30 also using the flight number FI6003.

Great to see them using Brum on both legs of this flight to Malta, a bit strange they use a none Icelandair destination, let’s hope there is a chance of getting back on their route map

I don't know what happened in the past that upset Icelandair (although I suspect that the Primera saga had something to do with it), but BHX should make amends. Icelandair would be so good for BHX.

I agree Iceland Air would be busy as-well for tourism and business inc connections to USA and CANADA - how can we get them back - so difficult i have contacted them say they will keep a note of suggestion - hope they do come back soon .....

I'm not sure what Primera had to do with it. Icelandair operated alongside United for several years without issue...

I was told back when they pulled out by a reliable source that it was a disagreement over charges as if you remember Icelandair used to have a lot of ground time and the airport began to be very unaccomodating, they clearly didn't think about the connectivity which Icelandair provides through KEF. A huge error and shame as Icelandair was a hugely popular airline from BHX, it used to be full all the time.
