This appears to be a regular Sunday evening flight now, but usually an ASL Cargo B734 aircraft.
Yes, I'd noticed the ASL B737's recently. Nice to see an An-12 though. I guess it depends what's available at the time. The An-12 is currently on it's way to Stavanger (SVG).

[EDIT] - just hearing it over my house now! :)

FR24 is showing a Pilatus PC24 departing BHX at 13:45 and arriving back at 14:45. No registration is given, but the operator is Pilatus Flugzeugwerke (i.e. the manufacturer. Callsign is PCH262. Could this be a demonstration flight to a prospective customer?

[EDIT] Ian's BHXmovements site is giving the reg as HB-VVI.

CAA article 250 permitted show that Azerbaijan Airlines have applied to operate a one off flight to Birmingham with the B787.

Arrives 2310 on 12th June and departs an hour later. Subject to change.
Very likely to be an F1-related charter flight, on the 12th there is a race in Azerbaijan.
If the times listed by the CAA are UTC/UK then the departure time from GYD fits for a post-race charter (5pm UK time = 8pm local)
Although it is a little peculiar the outbound charter isn't also from BHX.

England must be doing things on the cheap.

The aircraft G-SWRD Is a 737 -300 over 27 years old and previously owned by Maersk, GB Airways, British Airways, bmibaby, Jet Time, TAG Aviation and now 2Excel,

The old girl has been around a bit but presumably well looked after.

The ITA Airways A319 would have brought the Italian football team possibly. Playing England at Molyneux on Saturday.
Does 'would have' imply that it's no longer happening? The game is still showing for Saturday.
We have an A359 due in 07.40 World2fly EC-NTB TOM746P Covering for TUI.
As I mentioned above.
Meridian A-12 due in from Algiers at 07.15.
UR-CIC, MEM3016. FR24 has an STA of 09:09, but an ETA of 07:29. The Flight Engineer must be shovelling coal at a furious rate.

FR24 is also showing ITA airwyays A319 (Alitalia's replacement, EI-IMI , ITY9923) departing for Rome (FCO) at 13:15. I can't however find an inbound flight for this aircraft.

Kevin
FR24 is now showing A319, EI-IMI to have an ETA of 12:06 today as AZ9000. With it departing back to FCO at 13:15, I assume there will be another flight to return the Italy team (possibly Sunday?).

The bhxmovementsblog also shows Lufthansa A320 (LH9950) arriving later from Bilbao and night stopping making three Lufthansa night stoppers alongside the usual Frankfurt and Munich overnighters.

Also noted Jet2 seem to be jiggling around their 737s lately yesterday their was three positioning flights and today two in from Edinburgh and East Mids and one out to Leeds.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
