The freight side of the airport was busy yesterday with twenty-two different aircraft being seen including three AN26, two of Vulkan Air and one from Constanta. The rest generally smaller stuff AT72s, SF340s etc. Largest aircraft being B733s of Air Express and West Atlantic.

The second Smart Lynx A333 for STS arrived last night.

Any further National 747s due at all or were they just a set of flights for a certain period? They seemed to be (for BHX) quite regular for a while.

Finished according to Olton Pete on another website, he is very well informed shame really its good to see "The Queen of the Sky " at BHX. as they become rarer.

I had a feeling that the service was coming to an end prior to the final flight. I don't know why, as I hadn't read anything it was just a feeling. I don't know what the National B747's were carrying, but at the time there was a shortage of baby formula milk in the USA. The flights seemed to stop as US production re-started.

Hi Andy. Looking at FR24 it all seems normal at Luton. Perhaps this happened earlier in the day. I now hear Brize Norton has runway problems.

As of 18:08 on Monday, a Wizz Air from Varna is holding over NE London.

Looking at FR24, it looks like departures are continuing, but not using the full length of runway so it may be a problem at the touchdown end.

Anyone know if we had anything from Berlin Hertha Berlin were playing West Brom at The Hawthorns a small number of Hertha fans were there given a corner rather than the normal half of the Smethwick and they didn't fill it but anything for the Team and media. Looking and I ay seen anything from Berlin come into BHX.

I did wonder this myself, but nothing showing from Berlin today. Maybe they used another airport 🤔.

They might be touring England as I'm not sure if it was in England or in Germany but they have played Derby and Nottingham Forest so maybe East Midlands yet again Villa are abroad as to are Wolves and I haven't seen any charters to the Middle East/Asia/US wherever Villa are or Portugal For Wolves

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
