Quite nice to see a Dash 8 again which is on lease to Aurigny for a while to replace the EMB-190 and seems to be getting around a bit
This particular DH-8 has been operating in from Stuggart since before Christmas as a charter for Mercedes arriving early on Mondays sometimes stopping all week other times positioning out to various destinations but always does a return run on Friday afternoons back to Stuggart.

Todays flight for AurIgny is a first as far as I can recall.

It was in Gatwick and Manchester ( 2 times at least last week) and is in MAN now all from Guernsey

The ROM 744 YR-FSA from Hong Kong via Sharjah is due again this evening then night stops presumably operating direct back to Hong Kong tomorrow. Looks like we now have three regular weekly 744 freight flights from Hong Kong by ROM (1)and Meta (2) up and running.

FR24 is showing a Swiss A320-NEO (HB-JDF) operating LX424/425 from/to ZRH. ETA 18:10. ETD 19:10.

Are you sure that's a B77X, Ian? Boeing have been having problems with certification of the B777X, leading to a long delay into service. Also, is that the first EK B777 freighter into BHX?

Hi Kev,

İt's not the first time an EK Skycargo 77L has been into BHX. A while ago now, but remember seeing one on the Elmdon side. May even have been EFO. Couldn't swear to that though 🤔

It is a B77L but shows as B77X as the type on some systems

Dug this out from the BHX website.

On the18th May 2017 Emirates Skycargo operated a B777F to Chicago transporting cars for
Jaguar-Land Rover. Checking back on Ians site the registration was A6-EFM.

That's todays usless information.

Well the freight flights just keep coming

The National B744F is currently routing DWC to LEI so perhaps not for us?.

Emirates B777 (A6-EFO, EK9916) is now showing on FR24 as due from AMS at 11:30. No departure from BHX showing. This means that the Emirates A380 and the B777 should be on the ground at the same time.

[EDIT] - FR24 is now showing the Emirates B777 departing to DWC at 15:43 as EK9916, the Emirates A380 (A6-EUX, EK40) departing to DXB at 13:40.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
