British troops are in Estonia. Lots of uncertainty in this part of the world right now.

All to true unfortunately.

Just picked up on today that TUI operated three 789s one to Cancun and two to Bridgetown I don't think that has happened before, meanwhile I'm looking forwards to our trip to Bridgetown with TUI on a P&O charter in two weeks time. Will do a report on our return particularly referencing the BHX experience 😀

Quite a few widebodies in today with three Emirates diversions (2 388 1 777 ) plus the National 744 a along with the regular scheduled stuff.

There will be a few occasions this winter when we have an extra TUI flight to Bridgetown on a Thursday or Sunday, yesterdays Cancun was actually a 788.

Only 2 Emirates diversions on Sunday, so 2 A380's & 2 B77W's on the deck, and i don't believe the 744 actually turned up?

Thanks for the corrections Matt.

The movementsblog stiil shows three TUI 789s including G-TUIF which as you say is indeed a 788 and FR24 has it as operated Cancun.

Regarding National 744 N952CA the blog shows as arrived at 1740 DWC departed 20:40 however FR24 shows no info for it so not sureas either can be wrong at times. So far as Emirates is concerned I'm afraid I got a bit carried away with the numbers - given myself a stiff talking to.

Finally yesterdays final diversion tally was seven with 2 Ryanair738,78M 2 Wizz A321,1 EasyJet A320 plus the TWO Emirates 380/777.

Cheers rollo

3 "jumbos" today!!

currently on the ground National B744 N663CA, NCR504 from DWC, & Silkways B744 4K-SW008, AZG393 from GYD, with National B744 N952CA, NCR510 just over Italy, on route from DWC
And those are in addition to the Maersk 767 and HKG 330, and anything else I may have missed. There'll be sinkholes over the Elmdon side soon with the amount of heavy action it's seeing at the moment.

All five heavies were due in a 2.5hr period this evening I'm amazed BHX has the handling capacity for this level of freight not that I'm complaining.

The runway will become even bumpier at this rate. Great to see though. Saw a video earlier of an A340 cargo at Bournemouth. One of those would be nice.

Mackadown is correct details were posted on the Qatar thread in June by Matt995
It would be great if Qatar made it a regular A350 service giving increased capacity and a different aircraft type operating into BHX, mind you I'd prefer an increase to ten weekly with the 788 or even double daily 😉

By the way it was the Qatar Crand Prix yesterday so connected with that?

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
