Was told a medical emergency but cant confirm this. The time on the ground would be about right and perhaps a little fuel as well.

Yeah i've been told now that it was a medical emergency now.

Better hospitals in wales by the look of it.
Must be!
Though honestly it was probably the easiest airport on the flightpath, lots of MAN flights travel overhead and EXT is closed at that time of night i believe.

Cardiff Airport is closed due to snow at the moment but should be reopening soon.

KLM have cancelled the 09.50 arrival and 10.20 departure and it looks like ASL France inbound from Paris CDG has turned around and may be heading back to Paris.

It looks like that ASL France is holding over the channel at the moment and XL Airways A330 200 is on its way.

Airport is now open. Looks like XL Airways and ASL headed back to CDG. Corsair A330 same one as Friday is on the way, hopefully Flybe's afternoon flights won't get cancelled now as Paris, Berlin, Dublin and Cork have been.

Correction looks like Dublin is operating along with Paris CDG.

Unfortunately for the airport this couldn't have happened on a worse but the aircraft are departing and there is even 2 A330s on the ground at the same time!

It's installed isn't it? Just not operational.

Someone did mention the status of the 2nd moveable air bridge that was purchased, but I can't remember about that etheir.
Nope not installed. I think they've done the foundations but as far as I know both airbridges are still in long stay 3. I'd guess that the weather has held everything up .

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
