East Midlands Airport
A comparison of passenger numbers for all UK & Northern Ireland airports can be found here:

A more detailed analysis of your local airport will be produced when I have the time to compile the data.

In answering a post on the LBA thread, I checked EMA for June and it was 398,846.

July data from the CAA. There may be a difference between the passenger figures in my previous summary which used table 9 and those here which use tables 12.1 & 12.3 which split the numbers between international and domestic passengers.

EMA are struggling to regain pax since covid. Hopefully the extra TUI a/c from DSA will help.

CAA Stats 2022
East Midlands saw 3,186,367 passengers use the airport in 2022 up 283% on 2021 (832,529)
Aircraft movements 64,678.

Here is my take on the CAA data for April 2023. For some reason the CAA seem to have omitted Table 3 which contains Air Transport Movements and therefore I have had to leave that section blank. I have emailed the CAA for an explanation and, hopefully, I may receive a response at some time (my normal contact appears to have left).

The CAA has now published Table 3 and therefore this report is now complete.

I'm currently on holiday but will hopefully post statistics, from the CAA, when I return next week.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
