With the phasing out of B757s at Jet2 and TUI, are they likely to generate some final revenue by operating aviation enthusiasts flights? Would love a seat!

Think Monarch did, but not sure which aircraft (long before their demise of course). Biman Bangladesh for their DC10. Some US airlines also operated for MD series retirements.

Know Jet2 Airbuses won't start arriving until 2022, but it isn't that far away. Anyone on here know anyone at either airline who might consider it worthwhile. Nothing fancy, just an hour to witness those RB211s and whistling door seals one last time.... :geek::cool:

I would definitely go for one (Jet2 preferred) and ...... no need to test for covid, a purely domestic flight.

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.

Well over 4 million steps taken this year already. And about 12,500 photos.
The joys of travel. Train from Edinburgh to Leeds is cancelled so having another night in Edinburgh and heading back in the morning!
Tbf Edinburgh isn't a bad city to be stuck in.
A week off work done which resulted in 6 day trips , 50 miles walked and only 2500 photos, Going to work is more of a holiday as I tended to be out of my flat an hour earlies in my week off and back for after 8pm
