Obviously EDI didn't provide the extra pax they thought they would get.
 
In previous year members of this forum reported the Scottish government were funding incentives from Edinburgh which left Glasgow airport at a disadvantage. Clearly if that was the case the incentives can't last forever.

Maybe now they're incentivising Glasgow instead!
 
From what I am aware both WestJet and United are getting subsidy support at a local level rather than national.

On LinkedIn posts from AGS Route development teams have said "thanks to our partners at Visit Glasgow" rather than "Visit Scotland"

Word of warning though, this topic has turned ugly in the past on other forums

Yes I am very aware. One of those people used to frequent this forum but sadly he became so polarised on the subject I had to lead him to the exit.

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
