Maybe now they're incentivising Glasgow instead!In previous year members of this forum reported the Scottish government were funding incentives from Edinburgh which left Glasgow airport at a disadvantage. Clearly if that was the case the incentives can't last forever.
Yes I am very aware. One of those people used to frequent this forum but sadly he became so polarised on the subject I had to lead him to the exit.From what I am aware both WestJet and United are getting subsidy support at a local level rather than national.
On LinkedIn posts from AGS Route development teams have said "thanks to our partners at Visit Glasgow" rather than "Visit Scotland"
Word of warning though, this topic has turned ugly in the past on other forums
