I'd have thought they'd have had the flights onsale by now?Whilst Play are operating now, after November it's unclear with their route. from Liverpool. They are moving away from their US model and looking at servicing Med destinations from Iceland. The Liverpool- Keflavik is popular with football supporters traffic, I think passengers to the US from here will have dived particularly since Trump. Im sure Aer Lingus will feel this too.
The Trump affect, apparently US - Canadian traffic is down my 70%.USA is a very difficult market now as is so expensive out there and a very divided country
I think they will move away from the model we know, and concentrate on European sun destinations.I'd have thought they'd have had the flights onsale by now?
I'd expect as well they'll look at routes that bring tourists to Iceland as well. The Trump affect, apparently US - Canadian traffic is down my 70%.

Yes this has been known for some time, that its unclear what they are doing after November. I mentioned it in April.SeanM seems to think that Play will be dropping Liverpool at least for the winter.
Well the destinations they've been launching lately look to be more orientated towards taking Icelanders on holiday than connecting people to the USA.Yes this has been known for some time, that its unclear what they are doing after November. I mentioned it in April.
That's true, they seem to be changing their focus. Their Liverpool service brings in quite a lot of football supporters from Iceland.Well the destinations they've been launching lately look to be more orientated towards taking Icelanders on holiday than connecting people to the USA.
Can only hope they'll resume it for the summer. That's true, they seem to be changing their focus. Their Liverpool service brings in quite a lot of football supporters from Iceland.
We will have to wait and sea, they have been operating quite happily so far.Can only hope they'll resume it for the summer.
Yep it appears there just focusing on the Iceland-Europe market now.
