Boeing are really struggling to deliver as there are still problems so I would hazard a guess of early 2025 for first delivery
The latest delay Is more about errors in some component paperwork and trying to trace it back to where the error started.
So should be back to production soon.

Looks like deliveries could start again this week if all goes to plan (article dated 11th March):

Personally I think it’s going to be a good route. Birmingham is a multi-cultural city which has loads of people from different kinds of places. This is great as people have a new airline which connects to Asia from Birmingham now.
The timings seem to be ideal for onward connections to India, Indonesia, Pakistan and Thailand among others.

An interesting tit-bit..... On Sundays through summer there will be a 10-15 minute slot where you could see an EK 388, a QR 788, a SV 789 and a BY 788 on the ground at the same time... defo one for the spotters to enjopy

Just looking on the SV website now and using Sunday 23rd July as a base line, this is how SV compares to the next best 1 stop one-way flights according to Google flights.

Sun 23 Jul

Delhi

SV 14:45hr £920
TK 13:20hr £823

Mumbai

SV 14:00hr £900
TK 13:35hrs £724

Kuala Lumpur

SV 18:00hr £1,070
EK 17:05hr £921

Bangkok

SV 19:10hr £525
QR 15:35hrs £976

Interestingly, the timing are very competitive, normally within an hour of the fastest/cheapest route. BKK is the interesting one... whilst 3.5 hours slower than the next best (QR), its also over £400 cheaper...

whilst SV doesn't have the frequency of others, if your happy to fly on a Tu/Th/Su, seems SV will have come competitive economy fares!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
