Quite possibly pre planned. Various airlines over the years have done a go around on their first landing. The wind at the time was only 290 degrees, 19 knots.

Wizz Air Airbus 321 HA-LTK is enroute from Bucharest Otopeni and will make her first LBA visit around breakfast time. This aircraft was only placed on the Hungarian register less than a week ago and was previously G-WUKI of Wizz Air UK.

Later on today, German Airways Embraer 190 D-AWSI is programmed to operate the mid morning Amsterdam rotation and will be her first LBA visit. This planned movement is of course subject to change.

Do we need to be reading anything in to this? Just wonder if the fact we are potentially going to have a CAP on night movements due to the numpties at LCC, are larger aircraft going to be Jet2's way forward?

Wishful thinking in my opinion. Think it's pure coincidence.I for one would like to see the back of the 733s at LBA, replaced by 738s.

Think we all want that @Easy049. They can't go on forever but sure it's been said a few years life left in them yet with some 738s older than the 733s. Perhaps 321ceos can come our way as more neos arrive to replace those CEOs at other bases. But as you say probably wishful thinking
