From No.11 Squadron (Qatar) based at RAF Leeming, it’s a joint RAF/Qatar venture to provide advanced and high speed training for pilots from both Air Forces. It operates 9 Hawks.

Since it was formed, there's been a noticeable increase in Hawks visiting LBA. The Qataris seem to like dropping in. I wish their national airline felt the same way!

My understanding is the engine problems only relate to the later engines fitted to the A320 and A321 NEOs.

Yes, that’s my understanding too. The GTF (geared turbo fan) engine fitted to the NEOs is the one that’s affected.
