Just looking at FR24 its showing positioning into MME tomm morning and operating out to Exeter tomorrow afternoon.
Maybe a preference of the carrier or maybe they know something we dont regarding weather. It's not really that difficult to get to MME from Thorp Arch as it's motorway/ dual carriageway all the way there, plus quite a few players live in North Yorkshire, so may enable them to get home sooner. As long as they dont make a habit of it!

Only 44 miles apparently…

Think you will find more and more that Teesside has the backing to spend money no one else has!..Probably offering free or reduced landing fees!

Or more likely potentially weather related?
I was surprised that ATC was still in attendance when the last Utd flight arrived at Teesside. Are they 24hrs now?

Switched on to see what the WIZZ from CLUJ was going to do as wind-wise it was not that good - but no messing - straight in. It was immediately followed by an 'anonymous' G550 which originated in the San Francisco area and which did a 'shortcut' approach with what seemed a bit of an erratic track on finals if FR24 is to be believed.

FR24 was playing silly sods last night. Unless the late KLM really did land AND stop AND do a 360 all on the 32 threshold.

2Excel Aviation B737-700 G-NEWG expected from Exeter on Wednesday 11:45.
Seems odd going out from Teesside in the first place unless the airline had concerns about getting into LBA yesterday due to the wind forecast . As I mentioned earlier, Leeds were always flying back on Wednesday though.
They’re going to have to get a move on then. Kick off is at 19.45 so the game will end around 21.30. Allow 30 minutes to get changed etc. brings it to 22.00. Plymouth to Exeter is 45 miles with a journey time shown as 55 minutes so arrival at Exeter airport at approx. 23.00. Say 15 minutes to board to 23.15 with a flight time of 30 minutes brings us to the LBA arrival time of 23.45. Poor dears will be exhausted! Still, saves the expenditure of the team and staff being put up in an hotel overnight.

As above, they fly home tomorrow and are staying in a hotel tonight after the match. They are due at 1145 tomorrow, not 2345 tonight. 🙂 But, see below!

Departs back home to STN at 12:50
According to FR24 it's going to Teesside, not LBA.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
