Opa Locka is near Miami.
It is a former naval air station north of Miami. There were loads of piston engined (airliners) based here on my first visit in 1987. On my last visit in 2018 they have gone "up market", demolished a lot of old hangars and now market themselves as the business airport for Miami.

Jet2 A21N (G-SUNE) due in from NCL at 1340.

Good to see the Jet2’s Airbus A321Neo coming back to LBA for training details.

G-SUNE has a busy day ahead, so possibly expect a delay

EXS300T = MAN-NCL
EXS302T = NCL-PIK
EXS303T = PIK-NCL
EXS304T = NCL-PIK
EXS305T = PIK-NCL
EXS306T = NCL-LBA
EXS307T = LBA-NCL
EXS308T = NCL-PIK
EXS309T = PIK-NCL
EXS310T = NCL-PIK
EXS311T = PIK-NCL
EXS312T = NCL-MAN

All of which might suggest an emphasis on NCL for training.

Ryanair Boeing 737 Max 8-200 EI-IKN has just departed from Alicante and will make her first LBA visit in the mid afternoon. This will be the one hundred and sixtieth different Max to use our concrete.

Already covered in detail by our previous contributors, but for the record, Jet2 Airbus 321 Neo G-SUNE will be a first LBA visit.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
