Seems strange that Easyjet are opening new bases but not reopening Newcastle.

EZY have added a x2 weekly NCL AMS, now this is one route and airline I think would do great from LBA

Rumour has it that easyjet is to return to a quite significant base at NCL next year.

easyJet to reopen a base in Newcastle after a 6 year hiatus - with a 3 aircraft base opening in March 2026

This is the 11th UK base and follows the recent openings in Birmingham in 2024 and London Southend in 2025
