I hope you don't miss your connection. Have a safe journey.
Still sat on the tarmac at CWL! I probably have now. Hopefully they'll reroute me through Seattle so the delay won't be that great.

Is there a later flight to the destination you are planned.Weather unpredictable getting this time of year.Lets hope they sort you out.

Nope just a daily flight to Portland but there are more than daily to Seattle and other Delta hubs like Atlanta.

So today has been a bit of a disaster really. A 3 hour delay meant i missed my flight to Portland because of the fog and because essentially Skyteams whole operation has been messed up i've now got to spend the night in Amsterdam, to be fair KLM have paid for the hotel, and i'm now catching the Thursday morning flight to Portland! The joys of air travel!:)

Well done. You'll enjoy it all the more, and it was going to be great anyway I'm sure.:)

I know there was 1 today because of high winds in Amsterdam but didn't realise there was more earlier in the week?

Superking, i don’t get the derisory nature of your posts recently ?

There’s been a couple today, all for operational reasons ... KLM are thriving at CWL so there is no reason for you to suggest otherwise on that matter.

Purely ops/weather related mate, nothing more.

3 of the 4 BRS KLM rotations cancelled today and flights to/from other airports also seriously affected by the weather at AMS.

According to South Wales Aviation Group the 09.30 and 16.45 arrivals were cancelled along with Flybe's Berlin flight. Looks like KLM have had a bad day! But you can't control the weather!

Indeed, although the single easyJet AMS rotation from BRS seemed to have operated whilst KLM cancelled 3 of its 4 (as previously stated). AMS does appear to suffer from bad weather quite a lot.

The 21.30 arrival with the overnight aircraft has arrived so that is some good news. Yes it does suffer from fog a lot as well. I'm looking to fly with them again at the end of November so hopefully the weather and fog will be clear then!

Last KLM Fokker 70 from Cardiff Airport was PH-KZI and departed at 10.11.

From now on KLM will operate an all E jet service to Cardiff Airport providing a minimum 528 seats a day Monday to Friday and 440 seats on Saturday and Sunday.

Found this link to a YouTube video of the taxi abd takeoff of the last KLM Fokker 70 flight from CWL.

Does anyone know whats to become of the klm f70 's ?
Welcome to Forums4Airports Sean123.

I know some have gone into storage already in Norwich I believe. I imagine most would get broken up for parts as there is still some Fokker operators around the world so parts would be valuable to them.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
