Generally I've mostly found them to be my cheapest option to the US.
European wise they can be expensive and cheap. For my trip at the end of the month they were about £50 cheaper than Easyjet on a one way flight from Berlin back to Cardiff but when I looked at them as my return from Frankfurt in April it would've been double the cost of my flight with Lufthansa to Heathrow.

Today the extra flight from KLM KL1061/KL1062 saw a 737 800 operate it, PH-BXM.
So far it's seen both Embraer types and the 700 and 800 types for Boeing. All we need now is the 737 900 to complete the set!

It’s good to see but another chaotic day with strong winds in Amsterdam upsetting the schedule. Good to see KLM can move aircraft around to ease the problems.

Yep it is nice to see that they didn't cancel the flight as well!

I think the mid morning was cancelled so maybe they need the extra seats or it’s all they had available at the time. I will be on the new early afternoon in a few weeks so interested to see how it’s doing.

Interestingly today the afternoon and the evening flights are both down to be operated by E190s.

Flew on the new klm flight on Friday. Had 35 min delay and Amsterdam was in chaos from the morning fog. Only about 40 on the flight which made it very comfortable and the crew were great speaking with everybody individually. Nice to board the flight on an airbridge in Amsterdam instead of the bus to the Cityhopper aircraft. On Cardiff we got off on the new airbridge which gave a more professional feel and the new e gates were quick and easy. On a side note there were a lot of people waiting to board the flight back. Look close to 100

It's good that the flight seems to be getting decent use. Interesting that mainline used the airbridge but that Cityhopper don't seem to be. I'm flying back with them on Thursday, been a while since I've flown with them. Looking forward to it!

Will BRS getting their evening flight upgraded to a 737, it would be nice if the E190 went to upgrade Cardiffs evening flight but I don't think I'll be holding my breath! It also looks like that may be Cardiffs hopes of being upgraded to 737 dashed.

To be fair, the CWL operation should get E-190's before a 737 upgrade. As long as passengers keep increasing the E-190 will come sooner than later.

Assuming KLM aren't just happy to fill the E175s and have the rest go to BRS? Guess only time will tell but it would be nice if CWL was all E190 at least.

If CWL was upgraded to an E190 at 4 x daily, 28 x weekly, that would mean a big boost for the airport's passenger numbers if it could replicate the BRS route figures - another 120,000 or so on the 2018 route figure of 146,000.

A 4th daily flight would fantastic, i guess it depends on how many of the passengers that will be lost by Flybe that they think they can pick up and if they have the slots at AMS. The airport could really do with good news like that.
3 E190s a day would be a good boost as well!

It was a slightly odd service. Looking back I'm wondering if it might have been some sort of Brexit slot filler? So in the future they could operate 4 daily flights if need be.

It looks like from Monday 28th October through until the 30th March the overnight aircraft has been upgraded to an E190.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
