Spare battery and jump leads here if needed! On a serious note i know we all complain about the 300s but once there gone we may well miss them as like the 757s they're a classic jet!
I personally won't miss flying on them, when we went to FAO early Nov I noticed just how much noisier they are than the newer 737MAX or A321NEO. Been a fantastic servant to Jet2 and other airlines but time to move on.

May be noisier but interior wise Jet2 are maintaining them like a new jet. To the average passenger they would have no idea of the age of the aircraft. Flew recently to Jersey on FK out and FG back and found there was slightly more leg room than the 737MAX. Either that or my wishful thinking.

I fully appreciate them as a spotter as they add variety. We don’t always get to say we have much to offer here at LBA, but name another airport that has so much 737 classic operation

Yes according to FR24 it's G GDFN which is fully emblazoned in Jet2 holidays livery - assuming it stays on the NQY route for a while it'll be a nice bit of early advertising at LGW for the Jet2 brand.
Now in its way down to NQY flying under an Aurigny positioning flight number.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
