didnt take long for the HiFly Malta A330 to go tech, Jet2 had to sub in an A321neo to replace it on the Faro service this morning, fingers crossed it can be fixed in time for the 15:25 Tenerife flight!! - hope this is not going to be a regular occurence this summer!!

thankfully its back in service on the 15:25 Tenerife!

Might I kindly suggest that future updated timetables be posted in the dedicated ‘Birmingham Timetables’ thread? That way anyone interested still has access to the information? Speaking for myself (and perhaps others) I find scrolling through long lists of updated schedules every couple of weeks a bit tiresome.

Believe the LPL Jet2 flight diverted to PXO.....G-DRTN is a rescue flight. Must be crew out of hours unless G-DRTH has gone tech?

Crew! Apart from flight deck, Yes Hi Fly, but how many BHX based cabin crew are A330 licensed for that particular aircraft type MAN have A330 licensed, but i cant seeing them positioned down back and forth each day. Not knowing full regulations, perhaps Hi Fly have to provide a proportionate of cabin
Crew to supplement 'New Jet2' Crew, until they are fully licensed?? I may know more when I return on said aircraft from.ALC in a couple of weeks

Just arrived back on the A330 from ALC. Very Impressed. Predominantly Hi Fly Crew, accompanied by 4 Jet2 cabin crew. Hi Fly wear own uniform apart from ladies with Jet2 neck scarf, guys wear Jet2 ties. All safety briefing carried out by Hi Fly. Jet2 Cabin Manager/No1, excellent, maybe MAN based as had northern accent He introduced his team, and conducted all sales announcements etc. 'Team' as Jet2 to referred to all Cabin Crew, provided excellent service. No1 & No2 for Hi Fly, were exemplary. Never stopped working.
Flt deck, very hard to understand in their 'Portuguese'?, none the less great flight, albeit 1 hour delay, very smooth landing. Docked on 57L, appeared problem with airbridge. Steps ushered forward. Landed 14.30, outside waiting for taxi 30 minutes after. Well done, Hi Fly, Jet2 & BHX.
Off on same aircraft again in 4 weeks, anything like today's experience, looking forward to it!!

I flew down to LPA on a Hi Fly A330 when TUi had their MAX issues and similarly the crew were excellent. Much better than the Wamos crew on the way back to who it seemed we were nothing but an inconvenience by simply being there.

Very good question, if full to capacity, circa 150 seats 'short', each way. With the start of the School holidays, can't imagine many spare seats elsewhere.

Marrakesh specifically cause it’s probably in the top 10 most demanding routes from Birmingham.Ok yeah we have Tui and EasyJet on it at 2 weekly.

In the case of Mytilene, I know for a fact we are losing potential passengers to Manchester, due to the flight timings. We need a daytime flight to and from.
