This video provides a detailed recap and review of inflight food served by various airlines in 2025. Covering economy class meals, onboard catering quality, presentation, portion size, and taste, this video compares airline food experiences across multiple carriers and routes.

Based on real flight experiences throughout 2025, the video highlights how airline catering standards have evolved, what passengers can expect from inflight meals today, and how different airlines perform when it comes to onboard dining.

The food on your flights over the past year doesn’t look especially appetising. The biryani appeared to be the best in my opinion, but you mentioned it didn’t taste particularly good. On European flights, many airlines have stopped offering meals altogether because so many passengers felt the quality wasn’t up to standard. Personally, I still appreciate being served a meal onboard. If you’ve been away from home for a few days or weeks, it’s quite comforting to have something to keep you going, especially if you’ve got a long journey ahead once you arrive at your destination airport.

Food in Air India was good and improved a lot. Services of European airlines can’t be compared with Asian airlines. As you said, something is better than nothing.

Is it though? Travelling with a LCC at a minimal cost allows you the choice of where you eat, where on an airline you will have paid more for the ticket and you rarely have a choice.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
