As part of Leeds Bradford Airport’s (LBA) ongoing £100 million terminal extension and modernisation project, the food and beverage landscape at Yorkshire's largest gateway is getting a major upgrade. For passengers looking for a familiar pre-flight caffeine fix, the sleek, refreshed Starbucks located airside in the main departures hall is a welcome anchor of the terminal's new look.
Operated in partnership with global travel food restaurateur SSP Group under an expansive 14-year agreement, this Starbucks has been designed to meet the high-volume demands of a rapidly growing regional airport.
Designed for the Modern Traveller
This isn't just a standard grab-and-go kiosk. The refreshed Starbucks outlet has been carefully integrated into the expanded terminal space to offer both speed and comfort.

Recognising the needs of modern business and leisure travellers, the seating area features dedicated charging points built directly into the tables. To cater to the earliest charter flights and business commuters alike, the store opens its doors three hours before the first scheduled departure and remains open until the very last flight of the evening boards. Furthermore, the store is built to handle the heavy morning rush when based Jet2 and Ryanair waves depart, thanks to advanced brewing equipment and a streamlined counter layout.
Along with the standard signature espresso drinks and seasonal favourites, the store features an extensive range of hot toasties, breakfast baps, and pastry selections, including dedicated vegetarian and gluten-free options designed to travel well.
