Does that imply that Rotterdam has disappeared completely, at least for now?

Agree with the comments about Belfast City.

Appreciate all your good work on this SD

Echo the other comments.

Great detective work and in a super readable format.

For a bonus point can anybody quickly establish where the increases are purely on the domestic routes?

Another review in answer to Aceshigh's question.

Top work Sir.

Shame they couldn't slot in an early and a late Newquay and Cardiff remails elusive.

We don't want any midweek losses so they are a worry, but interesting that a lot of gaps at week end have filled up. Does this reflect connectivity needed over 7 days NOT just Mon Fri !

I would have thought Norwich USA via Manchester would have been popular?

And Belfast Sunday ?

Firstly thank you for your words of appreciation and encouragement.

Aso I have previously said, a lot of work still needs to be done to finish the programme. The "pure Flybe" seem more finalised than those operated by Loganair and that is where the gaps in the Norwich route, in particular, seem to occur. Bearing in mind the forthcoming ending of the Flybe/Loganair relationship that is, for the time being not too surprising.

I'll pay another visit to the Flybe website next week.

Cardiff remails elusive.
Cardiff could depend on whether LCY continues into the summer because CWL will have a based Q400 next summer and if LCY wasn't continued then 12 weekly MAN would fit into the slots.

Suggestion on prune is that Newquay is going twice daily although an interogation of the FlyBe website in June still only show the afternoon flight.

It is showing at 2 daily in GDS:

Thanks, User. Is GDS showing a sensible schedule for MAN-BHD on S17 Sundays yet? (ie. not once daily).

The return flights from NQY are at 1500 and 1730 in the week, so two per day but not a great deal of use for connecting traffic and return trips

Flybe potentially about to launch Bordeaux (which would be fantastic to have back at MAN).

GDS seems to have *something* loaded but I cannot get any flights to show up, equally, The Flybe website shows flights from 27th March when selecting MAN-BOD, but again, when you select those flights, nothing shows.

One to watch.

Could it be a codeshare with Air France?

Flybe Summer figures

The ACL Peak Week slot allocation for Summer 2017 showed a request for 1,048 Flybe movements.

At present, based on my analysis of the Flybe timetables for the week commencing 14th August, the airline has loaded 814 sectors, so we appear to still have a shortfall of 234 sectors -bear in mind that the report indicated that Flybe were looking to increase their operation by a massive 60% plus. I believe that figure to have been amazingly over ambitious and although there may be small tweaks still to be made - such as the Norwich route which could see an extra 10 sectors and Rotterdam which still does not appear - I think that the programme is now nearly finalised.

Scottie, if I'm looking at the same figures, 814 sectors would still represent an increase of 19%. I don't recall just when Lyon and Luxembourg started but if it was after August 2016, they would account for a few of them. (Didn't Luxembourg start as 2 x daily on weekdays but has reduced to daily?) As regards RTM, I suspect that has quietly been dropped.

I have just had a look at the online ACL report for the start of Summer 2016 - link is https://www.acl-uk.org/wp-content/uploads/pdf/MAN S16 Start of Season Report.pdf - and note that Flybe had been allocated 777 slots for the peak week in that year. On that basis we are only looking at an increase of 37 sectors at the present time.

Yes Rotterdam appears to have been quietly abandoned, however you never know it may be reinstated.

Luxembourg as you say has been reduced to just a single daily flight, but that I suppose is better than nothing. This route was restarted in September 2016 according to my statistics. Lyon appears to have started in August 2016- if you ignore the regular winter series of flights that normally operate between December and April.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
