Dubai – Manchester eff 01JUL20 1 daily A380 (3 daily from 01SEP20; Planned 2nd daily in August 2020 cancelled)

Emirates have actually now confirmed that MAN-DXB returns on 15th June for passengers. Will use the B77W daily until 1st July, then the A380 returns.

Begging to differ with Llandudno - who is nearly always correct in his information - but today's airlineroutes shows:

Effective 15th June - 30th June 2 x weekly B77W with passengers transiting beyond Dubai.

Courtesy of "A man in the know" the Dubai service operates 17th, 21st, 24th and 28th June.

Great news.

Despite the previous schedules that I have posted for Emirates they keep surprising us.

Today there were no arrivals that I was aware of but then EK17 arrived as a passenger flight and EK21 as a freighter (on a passenger configuratex aircraft).

Every day is a new day - enjoy.

A quick perusal of the Emirates Skycargo website suggests that from 1st July they will operate twice daily 380s, plus a 77W a few times a week (maybe just for cargo?).

And yet when you look at the EK passenger website they are still only showing 2 per week - from 1st July until 16th July and then 4 per week from 17th July, all with B773.

I definitely would go with the 4 per week - and maybe the odd extra flights - rather than the data from Skycargo.

July for EK at MAN:

1st-16th
2 weekly pax (wed/Sun) as EK17/18, up to 3 weekly freight using either EK19/20 or EK21/22. Number of pure freight flights will be based on demand and means some days could see 2 flights.

17-31st
4 weekly pax (Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun) and up to 4 weekly freight, again based on demand.

B777 used on all flights.

that makes more sense

Genuinely not trying to be argumentative this time, but, assume you mean to swap GLA for EDI, as GLA has been operating since mid July, 4 weekly for pax.

I'm away from home at present - not only in so far as being in the North Lakes - but have restricted internet access.

Anyway, thanks for keeping the Manchester threads alive with updates.

As far as I can see we have a daily B77W for August and September then October becomes double daily A380 from October. This is however subject to constant change as Emirates update their schedules according to passenger demand.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
