Reported on other airports that pax figures for October were 382494. As WH has intimated, they may even break 4m for the calendar year, at 3 568 631.
If they maintain the % increase, over last year as in previous months, then it will be very close. A 12% increase would just about make it.

Since there has not been an announcement for reaching 4 million, I doubt if it has been achieved.

The airport did a social media post on January 8th with the following stats which included 4 Million+ passengers.

With thanks to Ian on the BHX thread, pax for December were 204723 which, according to my spreadsheet, makes a total of for 2023 of 3 992 710, which is 7 290 short of 4 million.
I will go back and check my figures on the CAA website to check on the LBA claim.

Leeds/Bradford 2023 passengers figures taken from the CAA:-

AirportJanuary 23February 23March 23April 23May 23June 23July 23August 23September 23October 23November 2023December 2023Grand Total
LEEDS BRADFORD174,167193,486235,958304,588385,372447,022482,773506,239453,227382,494219,356204,7233,989,405
Near enough 4m so pretty damned good all things considered. There's quite a discrepancy though in the December figures. The CAA figures are well down on those stated by LBA.

December 2023 statistics as per the CAA data. As previously stated there is variation in passenger numbers as follows:

Using Table 9 (Terminal and Transit passengers) the total is 204,723. However by analysis of Tables 2.1 & 2.3 (International and Domestic passengers) the figure increases to 206,231. It is the latter set of figures that I base my analysis on.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
