That's a particularly good effort because I think that half term was later in Wales this year than in much (all?) of England. The half term factor ought to make itself felt in November's CWL figures.

Yes the autumn break was the 30th October to the 3rd November i believe. So a decent month of growth and November should get a boost. Just to note as well Dublin got a boost from the football game at the beginning of the month. It's also interesting to see the growth on the TFS route as as far as i know there were no extra flights. Anglesey also continues to do well under Eastern Airways and may now be starting to realise it's potential.

CAA stats for November 2017 are out.
The airport saw 77,830 passengers through the airport up 8.1% on 2016. The rolling year was 1,456,934 up 9.1% on 2016. Atm's were 1096 down 5.2% on 2016 with the rolling year 16,959 up 7.1% on 2016.

If there is the same sort of percentage rise (around 8%) for December that will mean about 6,000 more passengers than in December 2016, giving a year-end annual total of circa 1.463 million.

2017 would then have seen around 119,000 more passengers than 2016, + 9% approx
2016 saw 186,000 more passengers than 2015, + 16%
2015 saw 138,000 more passengers than 2014, +13.6%

So in three years the airport would have seen its annual passenger numbers increase by 443,000, a rise of over 43%.

A 9% rise in 2018 would provide over 131,000 more passenger than in 2017 giving a year-end annual total of around 1.594 million. With Qatar and the additional Flybe services that ought to be within range, possibly exceeded.

The airport has had some excellent growth over the last couple of years. Hopefully the airport will be able to keep it going beyond 2018 into 2019.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
