I'd have thought more Turkish and Greek destinations? Fill the TCX gap and maybe an unexpected city destination maybe!

Very nice to see. But that is all with the exception to an extra Tenerife. Hardly fills the slots. More to come?

So far today Easyjet have announced: Luton to Verona and Pula, Gatwick to Enfidah and Tirana.
Edinburgh to Gibraltar and Catania.
Bristol to Antalya.
Belfast to Dalaman.

Must be more to come from BRS and LGW?

Looking at the schedule - we have an extra bodrum on Fridays and an extra Tenerife added for peak season plus the 3 weekly Antalya . Early days and there must be more to come as I make it 18 aircraft now needed if u look at Friday evenings

I have not seen this before,as looking at the dep board on the easyjet flights that are mainly ski ,it says book in at the sport equipment desk. Its only easyjet ski flights that says this so I can only think its a easyjet thing. Its a good idea as it keeps all sport equipment togeather and make loading easy and quicker.
I have not checked any other airports that easyjet do ski flights from.

LPA and HRG appear to be operating through the summer, so no longer winter only. Mondays in peak-summer currently require 18x based aircraft (6x A319s / 10x A320s / 2x A321s) with a large gap yet to fill so I'm sure there is plenty more to come.
It would seem so.

So far I make the following weekly additions over summer 19.

Antalya 3 x weekly - new route
Las Palmas 2 x weekly - new summer route, previously winter only
Hurghada 1 x weekly - new summer route, previously winter only
plus one additional weekly rotation on each of Tenerife, Zante and Bodrum

That amounts to an additional 9 departures per week. If an 18th based aircraft is to arrive it will obviously have to be found a great deal more work each week than that.

When easyJet acquired the TCX slots there was no certainty that it would mean extra flights or even additional based aircraft. They could simply have retimed existing flights in order to make more use of the slot coordinated period (2300-0700) and thus give themselves greater operational flexibility. From the extra flights now appearing it appears they will have to base at least one additional aircraft next summer. I wonder if thy would have done so had TCX still been operating.

The last several years suggests they would, for an additional based aircraft has appeared each summer and retained for the following year when yet another extra based aircraft arrived, and so this annual pattern went on and in that way the number of based aircraft increased each year. easyJet had a publicly-stated five-year agreement with BRS which probably expired last year, and an additional based aircraft each year might have formed part of that agreement.

Nothing has been made public about a further agreement so far as I'm aware but it doesn't mean there isn't one. Even if they haven't got a formal understanding with the airport with agreed plans they could still grow as the market dictates.

A week or so ago the easyJet holidays website was relaunched and it made some interesting looking at. Izmir and Budapest were two destinations that were available to book from Bristol though no holidays came up when selected. Also Mahon is stated as a daily summer service. This week however Izmir and Budapest have both been removed so could they be new routes yet to be announced. There is some big gaps in the schedule to fill for no18 so I fully expect more gaps to be filled. As for the tcx slots nothing has been said has it. Perhaps they were quickly bought to stop someone else getting their paws on them.

Easyjet a few weeks ago were very vocal about the holiday side of the business. Sinse then nothing has been said about it or any roumers. Every one is waiting with bated breth about further announcements.

Let’s the speculation begin - am I to assume that the destination airport/s may be slot constrained ? If so I’m going for Munich and/or Zurich

Might be easyJet Holidays related in which case something like Agadir or the return of Bastia or something like Preveza now Thomas Cook no longer serves it?

Looking at the easyJet routes served from Gatwick and the ones from BRS there doesn't seem to be a lot of what might be thought realistic routes left, given BRS's 70-odd easyJet routes. Then again who would have thought of Brindisi or Montpeller after Ryanair axed it after one summer in 2009, or somewhere like Catania going year-round. They operate and seem to be doing well, so perhaps nothing served from Gatwick is off the BRS table.

Zurich or Munich would be welcome even if there is no onward connectivity, although that might mean that Swiss and Lufthansa might not become interested in the future but they might not anyway and a bird in the hand........... Geneva and Basel both operate year-round, the former over 20 xweekly in the ski season and 10 x weekly in summer, so why not a Zurich route? Helvetic got the summer monthly loads up to the mid 60s on their F100s to Zurich and I don't think that route fed into Swiss's international network.

Crossair did BRS---ZRH for a while a few years back. BRS was their first base out side of London. The service was pulled I think low pax numbers were quoted. Not long after BRS was pulled they started LCY. I cant remember the year or what type of aircraft was used out of BRS.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
