Big changes to the winter 23/24 schedule. Paris goes up to 6 daily , Edinburgh up to 7 daily , Belfast city goes up to 2 daily , increases to many others with some cuts to others

Summary of EZY Routes from BRS in peak-summer 2023

I've compared easyJets schedule from BRS during the second week of August 2023 compared to the same week in 2022. Here are the number of departures each week with the changes highlighted.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Number of destinations operating per week:
2022: 68
2023: 69 (+1)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Number of flights per week:
2022: 400
2023: 408 (+8 / +2%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Number of based aircraft:
2022: 17 (3x A319s, 12x A320s, 2x A321s)
2023: 17 (2x A319s, 13x A320s, 2x A321s)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Out of these 408x departures a week:
  • 350x departures are operated by BRS based aircraft (-5 from 2022)
  • 58x departures are operated by aircraft from other bases (+13 from 2022) - which are:
Operate some of the weekly flights:
7x Malaga based flights (that operate AGP-BRS-AMS-BRS-AGP)
7x Mallorca based flights (that operate PMI-BRS-ORY-BRS-PMI)
7x Edinburgh based flights
7x Faro based flights
5x Barcelona based flights
2x Lisbon based flights
1x Glasgow based flights
1x Paris CDG based flights
1x Amsterdam based flight

Operate all of the weekly flights:
all 6x Toulouse based flights

This is how easyJet have managed to increase the number of weekly flights without increasing the number of based aircraft

Lots of extra Tenerife and Lanzarote flights have been added over the Xmas / new year period - now up to twice daily on selected days to both destinations .
Geneva also now increases to 7 flights every Sunday.

A load of new routes were released for most uk departure points. However Bristol wasn’t one of them.

EZY peak S24 is now on sale via their app and website

Only thing I can notice is they may have dropped JMK (however still on sale via their holiday site)

Any new routes, frequencies etc will be announced over the coming months

If I recall Mykonos didn’t go on sale straight away last year either. The release looks a carbon copy of this summers schedule at the moment

Marrakech doesn’t appear to be on sale for next summer either ( I thought it was meant to be year round ?)

Is easyjet following a model led by jet2 whereby the holiday brand offers the full range of flights first then later released for flight only ? Looking at preveza and Mykonos in particular it appears may be that’s the case

It does look like that, i believe they do want to push their holiday operation.

I wondered this but Lefkas holidays not available even though flights are... I'm keen to book

Looking at the app it appears that extra frequencies are to be loaded on several routes for next summer - pula , enfidhna , larnaca , Tenerife plus more. Something to keep an eye on

Lots going on with the schedule for next summer but at the moment Alicante has been reduced on a number of days to just once a day with the evening slot removed . Also at a casual glance at a week in July it appears there may be no based a319s next summer ( everything subject to change)

All the extras I mentioned now on sale plus extra Alicante flights

Looking further - big increases across the board from Glasgow to Alicante to Berlin to Lisbon.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
