Nice week off work and with the weekends thrown in, it was 8 daytrips in 9 days. Averaged 18000 steps a days some 2 months after, I am 99% sure of, dislocating an ankle.

not quite matching last year's walking exploits. About 10,000 to 20.000 steps down on this time last year. Still done nearly a million.

My ankle feels a lot stronger than at the start of the year. It's the woeful state of the pavements in the city centre that caused it as they all looked "safe" then my right foot managed to find a loose slab. Was still doing 5 miles a day with the pain which I thought was only a slightly twisted ankle but then felt the bone pop back into place.

no, I've got used to doing walks of that length. Just on 47 miles done since Monday, And that comment was based on what my local pharmacist said to me.... "we don't call it exercise unless you get out of breath" so I am still trying to work out what to call my 330 or so days of 10,000 steps or more last year
today's the day I went past 2000 miles walked this year, a little bit ahead of schedule, Not worked out what kind of challenge to do next year

Hi, if it was an incident at LBA you need to go in to the Leeds Bradford Forum, then into Aviation Nostalgia, and then make your post there as the next comment. Good luck.

Another way to promote your YouTube channel here is you could write a new post reviewing your journeys and travels in our Travel Forum section where you can also include your YouTube videos embedded into the forum.
A few minor tweaks to the style, let me know what you think (Dark style unchanged)!

On mobile at the base there's what looks like a WiFi symbol but when you click on it it just shows coding?

Is that next to the Help and Contact link? If so that's the RSS feed link for the forum so will load code unless you open it using an RSS Feed Reader :)

I dip and dip out on a regular basis so don't tend to notice too much unless there a drastic changes. Sorry. There seems however to be a 'cleaner' look if that is what you are referring to. I approve if thats what it is.
Today was the beginning of my 41st year on this planet and also the day I moved too a different country! After living in Wales for my whole life, due to personal reasons I've now moved to Leeds. Hopefully one day I'll be able to move back home to Wales but for the immediate future my life is now in Yorkshire! Guess it also means Leeds Bradford Airport is now my local airport! Hopefully I'll fly from there soon!

A FRESH NOTE TO YOU ALL, it is difficult but necessary for honesty. I am a Jew , I had a DNA Genetic test because of my heart issues and the results indicated that I am genetically Jewish. I had a feeling but nothing more,. It is a faith I can engage with, i find comfort with being a Jew even though never raised in the traditions. Never the less I wish every one here a peaceful and profitable new year.

I forgot to mention my appointment as to a Legal advisory to my local authority, nothing more than a legal scholar.

as to the above, I am unpaid, an Honorary advisor on constitutional matters. Local versus National etc. The rules pertaining to the effect of policy and human rights and so forth. Simply, if asked, support the town solicitor as an independant voice in the discussion and argument of a edict from Whitehall. Constitutional Law was the basis of my Harvard studies for which I was awarded a doctorate in Jurisprudence.
Apologies for the reduced number of news stories being posted lately. I'm working from my mobile phone at the moment having broken my PC. I'm hoping Farther Christmas brings me a new one... fingers crossed anyway!
