Some interesting international borders from around the world. I like the picnic table between Austria, Slovakia and Hungary and the zip line from Spain into Portugal also looks interesting.

Mayoral candidate Andy Street is heading off to India and Pakistan with a view to secure some more investment for the region.

I don't follow politics that closely these days but from what I've have seen and heard Mr Street looks to be doing a great job for our region. As it stands I think he'll be getting my vote.

The little 'eyebrow' window above the rear square cockpit window was the giveaway. I initially thought it was an F28.

Alpha Tower is awesome for a 70s Tower and still is in 2017. They just need to put some neon lights on the top and it will look even better, especially at night.

Indeed it is, however i dont agree with the current planning decision that Alpha Tower needs to stay the tallest part of Arena Central.
Even more so in this part of the city, buildings should be allowed to go taller if they wish.

I used to live very close to Chasewater and got some amazing views of inbound traffic I used to watch AA & BA 767s in the morning inbound to runway 15 on my way to Uni, those were the days.

Indeed, it's the Scotland, Ireland, Iceland and North American traffic that comes this way but due to AI's rather unique flight path it's almost a daily sight. The EK A380 and QR were also a common sight last summer as they turned to follow the Chester Road down.

I used to see aircraft following this Chester Road path all the time. I had to walk to Brownhills High Street (Chester Road) to catch a bus many years ago and would often see early morning traffic. Emirates comes over my Mom's in Brownhills often quite low.
