Aircraft informed by London control who passed on the details to Channex ops. Pax being bussed back to LBA from NCL.

After holding for nearly one hour KLM 1551 is now diverting to East Midlands Airport

Good news: Airport has just now fully reopened.

The is quite a few night stopping aircraft out of place. So can see the been a few delays to thw first wave early morning departures.

Ryanair from Gdansk positioned in as RYR150 and KLM1551 repositioned from EMA. The LS228 aircraft G-CELE on the way from EMA as LS019P and LS274 G-GDFD from NCL as LS015P. Just 2 Jet2 B733's left at MAN and EMA respectively so hopefully by the morning they'll be back too.

Only 1 aircraft not returning tonight with that been Jet2's Boeing 737-300, G-GDFB. Seen as its been blocked in by night stopping aircraft at MAN.

Ps; I would hate to be In that arrivals hall just now, I bet it's absolute kaos. Oh even better the passengers have missed last bus off night as well!

Landing Ryanair on finals just reported a drone on 1 mile final for Runway 32/
Reportedly the drone was just half a meter below its left hand wing !!!

G-LSAB has just landed now but reported seeing nothing
